I am a young researcher, currently working in Milan.
I am very passionate about what I do and I have an enthusiastic approach towards challenges and novelties. Whit my work as a researcher, I hope to contribute to a more healthy, positive and equal world.
I recently completed a master programme in Biomedical Omics from the University of Milan, where I learnt the basis of most -omics approaches to research, the relative techniques and the importance of a comprehensive approach to biomedical studies.
I am currently a fellow in Dr. Luigi Nezi's laboratory, in the Department of Experimental Oncology at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan. I am currently focusing on the interaction between bacteria, metabolites and human cells in the context of colorectal cancer. In particular, I am trying to unveil the interaction dynamics between Bacteroides fragilis, polyamines and colorectal cancer and possibly, in the future, to apply the techniques our group is developing to the eneteric tumor microenvironment as a whole.
