One fellowship position available in the group of Susanna Chiocca at the Department of Experimental Oncology, IEO, Milan

 

The group

Our group is partly involved in the identification of factors that modulate host-viral interactions, exploiting in vitro and in vivo models, also in the context of the European Institute of Oncology Head and Neck Cancer Program.

 

The candidate

We are looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic fellow to extend and elaborate an ongoing multidisciplinary project on the role of HPV in Head and Neck Cancer.

 

You should have a background in cellular and molecular biology and a recently obtained Masters’ degree (Laurea Magistrale) in STEM disciplines.

At IEO you will have the opportunity to work in an innovative research environment and closely collaborate with other groups.

A 12 months fellowship will be offered; competitive salary will be offered depending on experience and qualifications.

 

The Institute

The European Institute of Oncology is one of Europe’s most influential cancer research institutes. The IEO operates as a Comprehensive Cancer Center, linking fundamental and applied research to clinical activities, patient care and clinical trials.

The Department of Experimental Oncology, currently composed of ~250 scientists working in 25 independent research groups and units, bases its excellence on a motivated and creative scientific team that is supported by high-end and innovative technologies and a flexible and efficient administration.
