Temporary Fellow Position

One short-term research fellow position is available in the Unit of Luisa Lanfrancone at the Department of Experimental Oncology, IEO, Milan.
The fellowship is immediately available, the salary will be commensurate to the experience.
The Unit is primarily interested in identifying and characterizing cellular pathways governing the biology of melanoma, which can be eventually targeted pharmacologically.
The laboratory of Dr. Lanfrancone is located in the Department of Experimental Oncology of the European Institute of Oncology (https://www.ieo.it), a Comprehensive Cancer Center based on state-of-the-art research laboratories and clinical facilities, fully equipped, relying on dedicated and trained personnel (https://www.research.ieo.it).
Required requisites of the candidate:
- Master in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Oncology, Genetics, Pharmacology, Molecular Medicine, Chemistry or relative disciplines;
- Good/excellent knowledge of the English language;
- Strong background in cell biology;
- Basic computational skills and experience in drug testing can be useful.
