The laboratory of Oncohematology coordinated by Prof. Enrico Derenzini MD at the Department of Experimental Oncology (DEO) of the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) is looking for a highly motivated technician.
Our group operates at the interface between clinical and basic/translational research to explore the molecular mechanisms of hematological malignancies and to find new pharmacological treatments. The laboratory has also recently started a long-term project in the field of the immunotherapy (CAR-NK cells-based therapies).
The successful candidate will be trained and involved in all the research activities of the lab and will take care of the laboratory by monitoring inventory and ordering supplies.
Requisites:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technician or equivalent
- Previous experience in a biomedical research environment is mandatory
- Knowledge of the main techniques of cellular and molecular biology
- Capability to perform in vivo experiments with murine models is a plus
The candidate is also expected to possess excellent organizational skills, reliability, precision, motivation and an open and collaborative approach.
