I am a highly motivated Master's student in Bioinformatics for Computational Genomics at University of Milan and Politecnico di Milano. I have a strong interest in Transcriptomics, Epigenomics, and Cancer Biology.
At IEO, I study global changes in gene expression induced by environmental stress with patterns of histone modifications, RNA Polymerase II binding, chromatin accessibility and higher-order chromatin organization. My research has a particular focus on characterizing changes in promoter-enhancer interactions induced by stress and dissecting how inactivation of selected chromatin regulators alter those patterns.
