Roberta Noberini

I obtained Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of Parma (Italy) in 2008, performing most of my research work as a visiting scientist at the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, in La Jolla (CA), where I continued working until 2012, first as a postdoctoral associate and then as a staff scientist. During this experience, I gained solid background in drug development, biochemistry and cellular biology. Since 2013, I joined Tiziana Bonaldi’s laboratory at the European Institute of Oncology, to extend my expertise in epigenetics and mass spectrometry-based proteomics. Currently, I am a staff scientist at IEO, and my research interest focuses mainly on the proteomics and epigenetic profiling of clinical samples to discover and investigate novel epigenetic biomarkers and targetable pathways in cancer.
