I'm a biotechnologist with a PhD in Nutrition and Metabolism, achieved in the University of Rovira i Virgili, in Spain. During my PhD I have been working with clinical nutritional intervention trials involving patients with metabolic disorders, in which I have studied the role of gut microbiome by multi-omics analysis
My main area of research at IEO is understanding the role of the human gut microbiome in the metabolic context of tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer.
